Description
Developed by 3AGames and produced by Game Factory Interactive LTD, Officers
(formerly Kombat) is based on WWII events and shows all fronts of the war
actions within the years 1939 - 1945. The title is a 3D RTS game with tactical
war game and RPG elements. The game uses the real army structure of the
timeframe, with units in reconnaissance, counterespionage, medical squads,
etc. The gameplay is based on an officer's training system that was used
during the WWII. At the beginning of each encounter in the game, the player
can choose any side from those already engaged (USSR, Germany and the Allied
Forces of the US and UK, depending on which encounter is at hand) -- once sides
are chosen, players are launched into real operations of the 1939 border assault
of Germany invading Poland, the 1939 encounter with the USSR in Finland, or the
1943 Allied landing in Normandy.
